The second-to-last pickup! The last cider! I will miss this prod to get me out of the house during the pandemic. And all of the beautiful produce, of course. Tonight they had a little end-of-the-year party, with hot cider, a vegan apple pie, and some fresh bread from the bread share I don’t subscribe to. Plus, the tote bag pictured above with the incredible art. The space where the CSA pickup is set up was full of Christmas trees and wreaths, and little glowing lights, and smelled incredible.
So, the share: collards, butternut squash, carrots, sunchokes, a blend of radishes, and snapdragon and golden delicious apples. Perfectly December-appropriate. There will be a lot of roasting in my future.
