Last year I had a bit of a joke, though true, about how it was always raining on Tuesdays when I went to the pickup site. This year, we have been promised rain every week, but it rarely comes. Big thunderstorms that maybe turn out a bit of a brief sprinkling for 5 minutes. Neither is great, as they’re both part of climate change, but some rain would be nice. It’s been hot.
For this week, I think we have a big salad or two, some fruit snacks, and a whole lotta zucchini. Pasta, I guess? Maybe ratatouille. But the summer yield is looking good (with hopefully less radicchio than last year).
