Summer produce is still running strong. I think because it’s been so hot for so long this year. The farmers market Saturday was loaded with produce (especially peppers). And people. The city is definitely back. It’s making me excited for fall. And stressed, too. Very stressed. But I might get one more ratatouille out of it.
Speaking of hot summers, my basil plant is brown. Just dead and brown. It could not handle being in the sun. The tomato plant is still going slowly. I think it will be more productive next year.
