






It’s been a worrying week, weather-wise. Multiple days of 70+ degrees is never good for November. But I did have some lovely walks through the park. And baked a lot. Clockwise from left:
- This apple cobbler (I left the skins on)
- Autumn in the park
- The last days of my pumpkin (it was starting to stink)
- Another hat for J (this one will be colorwork, but I’m giving it 5″ of 1×1 ribbing so I will be knitting for quite a while)
- A gigantic sweet potato
- Which became this sweet potato pie (plus some extra); made with coconut cream and vegan liquid egg, and I added some cloves
- Sweet potato pie with plenty of whipped cream (the recipe only called for 1 tbsp of sugar, which made for more of a savory soufflé than a dessert pie—I’d probably add a quarter cup in the future)
