It’s been another week of weird warm weather. But it’s finally turning cold. The leaves are turning yellow. It’s dark by 5. It finally feels like November. Our heat’s been off for several weeks (lol). We’re trying to get out more in the best season in New York. Clockwise from left:
- This cactus has been trying to flower for a year now. One finally bloomed and it is so weird!
- I’ve been making this side dish with the mini peppers:
- sesame oil
- tamari
- S&P
- roast at 400 degrees until they start to darken and bubble, about 30 minutes
- The peppers wrapped in tin foil, just out of the toaster oven
- Yum!
- I also made a cheesy sunchoke quiche (at 375 for 45 minutes, etc.), but ate it and forgot to take photos
- We went to a bunch of galleries on Saturday to see ART
- Finally got through the ribbing of this hat
