CSA Week 23
Last week of CIDER! And only four weeks of pickups left. I am not ready. I haven’t used last week’s broccoli yet, so I’m thinking of making a creamy broccoli soup. The kale is going to become the caesar tonight. And the sweet potatoes will join up with last weeks to make 2 pies.

CSA Week 19
Still peppers! The heat is gone now, but I suppose its effects have lingered. The darkness is setting in, and it’s already getting dark by the time I get home from pickup. Winter will be here soon. But I’m enjoying the cooler weather. It is for real apple pie time. And soup time. And I…

I’ve been under the weather this week, but I did manage to finish a hat for J. Soft, cozy, and warm, just in time for crisp late October days and nights.
